C35C Dining table

The largest of the 1957 C35 tables seats ten on the same light, slanted oak legs as the smallest.

Poul M. Volther's aim with the C35 series for FDB Møbler was a simple, stylish table to complement FDB Møbler's popular chairs, and the C35C is that idea at 86.6 inches. The tabletop is oak veneer, nature lacquered; the frame, pull-out bars, and legs are solid FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified oak from European forests. Wood being a natural material, slight variation in appearance is part of each table.

Common Questions

How many people can dine at the C35C?
Ten, at the 86.6 by 37.4-inch top — the largest table in the C35 series. Large extension leaves, sold separately, add length for occasions that run bigger still.

Will the oak vary from the photos?
Slightly, yes — oak grain and tone differ naturally between tables and even within one piece, so each C35C is unique. The nature lacquer keeps the surface light and true to the wood.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
