With its simple, clean look, the Anholt coffee table is a shining example of the Danish and Nordic design tradition. This Nordicness is reflected directly in the shape of the table, inspired as it is by the flat stones that one finds on the beach. The oval and asymmetric lines combine to produce an exciting and vibrant design. The organic idiom comes with an inherent naturalness and at the same time an aesthetic feel clearly inspired by nature. It was therefore natural for the table to be made from solid oak. Anholt is a classic and highly versatile piece of furniture. The coffee table is ideally suited to go with a two or three-seater sofa, or alternatively with a large modular sofa arrangement, where it will fit neatly into a closed L-shape or an open U-shape.

Diana Claudia Mot and Isabella Bergstrøm are emerging Danish designers who graduated from Design School Herning in 2016. Winners of the 2015 FCS Design Award, they bring dynamic contemporary approaches to traditional Scandinavian craft.
