FDB Møbler began in 1942, when Børge Mogensen set out to make furniture that was both beautiful and affordable. It still makes his designs alongside new ones, and every piece is tested at the Danish Technological Institute.

Diana Mot and Isabella Bergstrøm revived the classic Danish storage bench for FDB Møbler, stripping it to clean lines and surfaces. In nature-lacquered solid oak, the 57.1-inch F24 seats two, doubles as a low table, and keeps the daily clutter in its built-in drawer.

What is the drawer for?
It is built into the bench for the things that otherwise pile up — chargers, remotes, gloves in a hallway — keeping the oak top clear for sitting or serving.
Are cushions available for the bench?
Yes — FDB Møbler makes optional R6 cushions in leather or wool for the F24, which turn the bare oak bench into a softer seat.
Can it work as a coffee table?
Yes — the flat lacquered oak top is designed to serve as a small table as readily as a bench, which is the point of the design.
