A woven seat on a bar stool is rare in Danish design — Jørgen Bækmark made it look inevitable.

The J165 bar stool rounds his paper cord seat and stretches the oak frame to bar height, released by FDB Møbler for Bækmark's 90th birthday. In nature-lacquered oak, it carries the same clean lines as the Danish dining classics it descends from.
