J182 Holmen Stackable chair - Black
Holmen is Danish for islet, and Jakob Thau's chair keeps an island's economy: clean lines, soft curves, nothing spare.
The J182 from FDB Møbler sets a shaped oak veneer seat and back on a black powder-coated steel frame — maritime references filtered into a light, stackable dining chair that works as well in a café as at home.

Common Questions
Why mix steel and oak veneer?
The slim steel frame gives strength, stackability, and a light 9.5-pound weight, while the oak veneer seat and back keep the warmth of wood where your body meets the chair.
Does the J182 come with armrests?
Not this model — armrests belong to its sibling, the J183 Holmen, which shares the same steel-and-veneer construction with a wider 23.6-inch stance.
