Common Questions
Where does the Holmen name come from?
From the Danish word for islet — Thau designed the chair to carry the calm, harmonious character of Denmark's small islands into its clean lines and soft curves.
How does this differ from the J182?
Armrests and width: the J183 adds arms and measures 23.6 inches across versus the J182's 19.7 — same stackable steel frame, same oak veneer seat and back.
