M5 Sammen Extension Leaf

Two unexpected guests are not a problem in a series designed around the word together.

The M5 Sammen extension leaf in solid nature-oiled teak slots onto the end of either Sammen garden table — the small M3 or larger M2 — adding 30.5 in of surface without upsetting aesthetics or stability. From Thomas E. Alken's outdoor series for FDB Møbler.

Common Questions

How much seating does one leaf add?
Roughly two places — the 30.5 in extension takes one chair per side, mounted at either table end.

Can I combine leaves and central plates?
Yes — the Sammen system is designed for endless combinations: leaves at the ends, M4 central plates between tables, as the guest list requires.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
