R33 - Kirkeby - Towel Set - Granite Gray
A towel that quotes a 1962 dining chair — Gitte Lægård wove her hometown and FDB's history into terry cloth.
The R33 Kirkeby towel set in Granite Gray takes its name from Mejrup Kirkeby, textile designer Gitte Lægård's birthplace, and its refined graphic pattern from the woven seat elements of Jørgen Bækmark's iconic 1962 dining chairs for FDB Møbler.

Common Questions
What is the pattern based on?
The woven elements of Jørgen Bækmark's 1962 dining chairs — a graphic homage that ties the towels to FDB Møbler's furniture history.
Is this a single towel or a set?
A set — the R33 Kirkeby towels come as a coordinated set in the Granite Gray colorway; a Rainy Day version offers a softer alternative.
