Fermob builds its chairs and tables in its own factories in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, from steel and aluminium sourced mainly in Europe. Every piece gets Fermob's own anti-UV powder coat, which keeps its colour outdoors without heavy metals or VOCs.

Fermob Piapolo Side Table
Stool, side table, and hidden storage in one spun-aluminum cylinder — Tristan Lohner packed three jobs into 18 inches.
The Piapolo's flip-up lid conceals a storage compartment for the small things a terrace accumulates: matches, sunscreen, a phone. Spun from aluminum and powder-coated at Fermob's French factory, it moves easily between bedside, lounge chair, and balcony duty.

Common Questions
What fits inside the Piapolo?
The flip-up lid opens to a concealed compartment sized for terrace essentials — reading glasses, a book, chargers, or garden odds and ends — keeping the surface clear for a drink or a lamp.
Is it safe to leave outdoors?
Yes. Aluminum will not rust, and the powder-coated finish stands up to sun and rain. Wipe it with mild soapy water and bring it under cover during long freezes to keep the finish fresh.
