Tala was founded in 2015 by three Edinburgh University friends. Its London team designs and engineers its LED lighting in-house, in aluminium and brass rather than plastic, and builds it to be durable and repairable.

Firth Wall Light in White

Firth's mouth-blown glass is made from recycled and virgin glass and bends light into soft, dynamic reflections rather than a single hard beam. It mounts flush to the wall with no visible fixings and ships with its GX53 Dim to Warm bulb already fitted — see the rest of the range in Comosum's Tala collection. Can I install Firth in a bathroom?
Yes — Firth is rated IP65, which covers full protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, so it's built for bathrooms and covered outdoor spots.
Is the bulb replaceable?
Yes — Firth uses a GX53 base bulb rated for about 15,000 hours; when it's time to replace it, any GX53 Dim to Warm bulb will fit.
Why is there condensation inside the glass after installation?
Tala's installation guide calls for a desiccant packet inside the glass for the first 24 hours to draw out humidity introduced during mounting — follow that step and it should clear.
