Gentong King Size Headboard in Solid Teak

A carved teak panel wide enough to span a king bed, standing 43.3 inches tall behind the pillows.

Solid teak takes the carving across the full face, a dense hardwood with a pale golden cast that deepens slowly with age and light. It's part of our Tikamoon collection, made for the wall behind a king frame in a bedroom where one piece is meant to do most of the decorating.

Common Questions

Will the Gentong headboard fit a US king bed?
At 82.7 inches wide it spans a standard 76-inch king mattress with a few inches of overhang on each side. Measure the wall run first, since the panel needs the full 82.7 inches with nothing crowding either end.

How far does it stand off the wall?
The panel is 1.6 inches thick, so it sits close to flush and takes almost nothing from the gap between the wall and the bed frame. Overall height is 43.3 inches, which clears a stacked pillow arrangement.

Will the wood grain match the photos exactly?
Not exactly. Teak ranges from light honey through bronze to darker brown, and a face 82.7 inches across shows that spread within one panel. The variation is characteristic of the wood rather than a defect.
