Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse founded Ethnicraft in Antwerp more than 30 years ago. It makes solid oak and teak furniture in its own factories, and its Re-Loved programme refurbishes pieces for a second life.

Geometric Side Table
Look at it from another chair and it becomes a different table — that was the whole idea.
Alain van Havre built the Geometric side table for Ethnicraft by intersecting shapes until something new appeared: a 20-inch piece that changes silhouette with every angle. It comes in solid oak — natural or black-tinted, varnished, made in Serbia — or brown-tinted FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified teak, made in Indonesia.

Common Questions
Why does the Geometric Side Table look different in every photo?
Because it is — the intersecting planes present a new composition from each viewpoint, which is the core of van Havre's design. Rotating it a quarter turn refreshes the whole corner.
Is it the right height for a sofa?
Yes — at 19.5 inches it lands near most sofa arm heights, and the 20-inch square footprint slots beside seating without crowding the walkway.
