Hexagons and circles interlock into a fragment of some larger pattern, hinting at architecture and industry.

Lars Tornøe designed Hex for small entrances where a mat has to earn its footprint: the relief gives a genuine scraping effect and catches dust as well as grit. Heymat produces it in Poland with a pile of PET and PP at 50% recycled content over a nitrile rubber backing at 15% recycled, rated for both indoor and outdoor use. It is the one mat in the Heymat range washed warm rather than hot.

At what temperature should Hex be washed?
104°F (40°C) — warm, not hot. Hex is the exception in Heymat's range, where the indoor mats wash at 140°F. Lay it flat or tumble dry afterwards.

Will Hex fit a narrow entryway?
Yes. It comes in 18 x 30 in and 22 x 35 in, both scaled for small entrances, and at 0.3 in thick it clears most inward-swinging doors.
