Three parallel rings, the middle one wider — one move that splits the curve above from the curve below.

Industrial designer Sebastian Holmbäck built the ARC series for Holmegaard around that division and ran it through vases, flower pots, lanterns, and tealight holders. The glass is hand-pressed, in clear and deep blues and greens, so the rings hold their edge. Parent company Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

What is the design actually doing?
Balancing three parallel rings. The central ring is wider than the two flanking it, which creates a sharp division between the gently curving top and bottom sections of glass.

Which piece takes a pillar candle?
The lanterns — 10.1 in and 15.4 in — are the pillar sizes. The 2.0 in holders, sold in pairs, take standard tealights.

Can the flower pot hold a plant directly?
It has no drainage hole, so keep the plant in its nursery pot inside and pour off any standing water. The 5.7 in diameter fits most small houseplants.

Founded in 1825 in southern Zealand, Holmegaard is Denmark's oldest glasshouse and one of the country's most storied design names. Each piece is mouth-blown by master glassblowers using traditions passed down for nearly two centuries, with collaborations spanning Per Lütken, Peter Svarrer and Maria Berntsen. Part of Rosendahl Design Group, a Certified B Corp committed to FSC, GOTS, GRS and OEKO-TEX standards across its supply chain.

Most Holmegaard and Rosendahl glassware is mouth-blown — small bubbles or seams are part of the craft, not defects. Store upright with space between pieces; do not stack. Dishwasher-safe items are noted on the inner gift box.
