Holmegaard Klukflaske 3-Pillar Spirits Bottle Clear 10.2in
Klukflaske is Danish for gurgle bottle, after the sound a pour makes coming up the narrow neck.
Holmegaard, Denmark's oldest glassworks, has produced the three-pillar spirits bottle for so long that the silhouette works as shorthand for the house itself. Each one is mouth-blown, so wall thickness and the set of the pillars shift from bottle to bottle. Parent company Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

Common Questions
What does mouth-blown mean in practice?
The bottle is shaped by a glassblower rather than pressed in a mold, so thickness, weight, and the exact turn of the three pillars vary — every bottle is genuinely one-off.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Hand wash it. Holmegaard publishes no dishwasher rating for the Klukflaske, and a mouth-blown decanter with a long neck dries best rinsed in warm water and stood upside down.
What is it meant to hold?
Spirits — aquavit, schnapps, whisky. The narrow neck slows the pour, which is what produces the gurgle the Danish name refers to.
