Drawn with the professional wine waiter in mind, this range took an iF Design Award in 2007.

Tom Nybroe's Perfection series for Holmegaard is mouth-blown across the board — sixteen pieces running from burgundy bowls down to shot glasses, plus water and wine carafes and a carafe holder. Because each glass is blown by hand, stems and bowls carry small differences. Made in Slovakia. Parent company Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

Common Questions

Why so many shapes?
Nybroe designed the range for professional service, where each wine style gets a bowl volume matched to it. At home, the burgundy, red, white, and champagne glasses cover almost everything.

Are Perfection glasses dishwasher safe?
Holmegaard's guidance is to check the rating for the specific glass, because it differs across the catalog; where a series is rated the ceiling is 130°F. Hand washing mouth-blown stems is always safe.

How much wine does the carafe hold?
The wine carafe holds 74.4 oz — about three standard bottles — and the water carafe 37.2 oz. A separate carafe holder and lid are sold for the water carafe.
