What is the difference between the candle and tealight holders?
The candle holders take standard taper candles in a narrow well; the tealight holders have a wide recess sized for a tealight cup. Both share the same furrowed profile.

How many should I buy?
The series is drawn for grouping, not symmetry — three to five holders at mixed heights along a table reads better than a matched pair at either end.

How do I get wax out?
Let it set fully, then lift or press it out and wipe the porcelain clean. Avoid scraping with metal, which can mark the glaze inside the well.

Founded in Næstved, Denmark in 1839, Kähler is one of Scandinavia's oldest ceramic houses. Six generations of ceramicists have shaped its archive — from Hans-Christian Kähler's original earthenware to today's Hammershøi, Omaggio and Urbania collections. Each piece is hand-finished, with collaborations spanning Hans-Christian Bauer, Anette Krogstad and Stilleben. Part of Rosendahl Design Group, a Certified B Corp; ceramics use FSC-certified packaging and meet OEKO-TEX standards.

Kähler and Bjørn Wiinblad ceramics are wiped with a soft, damp cloth — most decorative pieces are not dishwasher-safe due to hand-applied glazes and decoration. Do not soak. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Hand-painted details should never go in the microwave. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve color depth, and store upright with felt pads between stacked pieces.
