Kähler
One of Scandinavia's oldest ceramic houses
Kähler has made ceramics in Næstved since 1839. Six generations of ceramicists have shaped its archive, from Hans-Christian Kähler's earthenware to today's hand-finished Hammershøi, Omaggio and Urbania collections.

Kahler Omaggio Nuovo
Stilleben returned to their own 2008 icon and widened it — same family, softer surface, more of the table.
Omaggio Nuovo is Kähler's renewal of the series that made the house famous, again drawn by Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft of Stilleben and released in 2022. It reaches past vases into flower pots and a candle holder, all in faience, glazed in terracotta, ochre, and two blues. Parent company Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

Common Questions
How is Nuovo different from the classic Omaggio?
It is the same designers reworking their own series — the range extends into flower pots and a candle holder, and the palette runs to terracotta, ochre, and blue rather than the metallics.
Is Omaggio Nuovo dishwasher safe?
No. Kähler lists the Omaggio family as not dishwasher safe; wipe the faience with a damp cloth and rinse vases by hand between arrangements.
Can the flower pots hold a plant directly?
They are glazed faience without a drainage hole, so keep the plant in its nursery pot inside and empty any standing water after watering.
