Vera & Kyte kept Løype to a single gesture and let light and shadow fill it in. The soft melange surface hides grit between washes — useful on a mat that works every day — and Heymat weaves the pile in Belgium from 100% recycled PET over a nitrile rubber backing with 20% recycled content. It joins the rest of the Heymat collection of Norwegian doormats.

Yes. Wash at 140°F (60°C) with regular bleach-free detergent, then tumble or flat dry. Mats up to 33 x 59 in fit a standard home machine; Heymat recommends two to four washes per year.

Is Løype suitable for an open porch?
It is an indoor mat. The recycled PET pile absorbs moisture and the rubber backing protects floors, but for a doorstep exposed to rain and snow choose a Heymat all-weather mat instead.

Vacuum the mat regularly.

Wash on hot when needed. Use a bleach-free detergent and vacuum the mat before washing. Dry the mat in the tumble dryer or hang up to dry. You can extend the life of your mat by regularly machine washing; we recommend that you do this 2–4 times a year.
