Costanza Pendant

Paolo Rizzatto designed Costanza for Luceplan in 1986, and it has been in production ever since.

The pendant keeps the lamp's tapered shade and slim proportions and adds a steel counterweight, so you can raise or lower the shade by hand from about 39 to 59 inches. It hangs well over a dining table, a kitchen island or a desk, and the shade spreads light down and out without glare. Choose plain white or a color from the Mezzo Tono and Radieuse shade collections. Like every Luceplan Costanza, the shade is a separate part, so you can change the color later or replace a damaged shade without buying a new lamp.

Common Questions

Can I change the shade color later?
Yes. Luceplan sells Costanza shades separately in all eleven colors, so you can swap a white shade for a color, or replace a damaged one, without buying a new lamp.

How high does it hang, and can I adjust it?
The counterweight lets you raise or lower the shade by hand between about 39 and 59 inches, so one pendant can sit low over a table and higher over an island.

Does it come with a bulb?
No. It takes a standard E26 LED bulb, sold separately. A warm 2700K LED gives the classic Costanza glow and runs cool.
