Lyngby Porcelæn Lyngby Flowerpot

Two archive favorites — the Bonbonnière bowl and the 1936 vase — merged into one fluted, handmade flowerpot.

Lyngby Porcelæn drew both references from its own design archive in 2016, giving houseplants the same grooved porcelain profile that made the Lyngby Vase an icon. Each pot is handmade in Portugal in three sizes. Parent company Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

Common Questions

Which size fits my plants?
The 4.5 in pot suits windowsill herbs and succulents, the 5.7 in takes most standard small houseplants, and the 7.1 in handles medium plants and larger root balls.

Will each pot look identical?
Nearly — but the pots are handmade porcelain, so slight variations in glaze and flute definition are normal and expected in the series.

Does it coordinate with the Lyngby Vase?
Yes. The flowerpot borrows the vase's fluted profile directly, so pots and vases group together on a shelf or windowsill as one family.

Lyngby Porcelæn +

Care Guide +

Kähler and Bjørn Wiinblad ceramics are wiped with a soft, damp cloth — most decorative pieces are not dishwasher-safe due to hand-applied glazes and decoration. Do not soak. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Hand-painted details should never go in the microwave. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve color depth, and store upright with felt pads between stacked pieces.
