Mix Teklan

Seventies earth-pastels, drawn from gemstones and Mediterranean light, recolor a Heymat classic.

Swedish designer Tekla Evelina Severin reworked the palette of Kristine Five Melvær's Mix pattern for this edition, keeping the woven geometry and swapping in warm, dusty tones. Heymat weaves the pile in Belgium from 100% recycled PET over a non-slip nitrile rubber backing with 20% recycled content that traps dirt and keeps water off the floor. The original colorways are in the Heymat collection.

Yes. Wash at 140°F (60°C) with bleach-free detergent and either tumble or lay flat to dry. All three sizes fit a standard home machine, and Heymat suggests washing two to four times a year.

How is Mix Teklan different from the standard Mix?
Only the palette. The woven pattern, 0.3 in recycled PET pile, rubber backing and sizes are identical; Tekla Evelina Severin recolored it in seventies-inspired earthy pastels.

Wash on hot when needed. Use a bleach-free detergent and vacuum the mat before washing. Dry the mat in the tumble dryer or hang up to dry. You can extend the life of your mat by regularly machine washing; we recommend that you do this 2–4 times a year.
