Traditional woven textiles, rerun through five palettes, from Norwegian berry fields and forest floors to seventies earth-pastels.

Kristine Five Melvær's Mix reads like a tapestry at the door: Gem in emerald, sapphire and ruby; Berry in the reds and blues of Norwegian fruit; Meadow in bright blue, green and red; Forest in grounded grey, blue and green; and Teklan, recolored by Swedish designer Tekla Evelina Severin in seventies earth-pastels of lilac, olive, ochre and pink. Heymat weaves the pile in Belgium from 100% recycled PET over a nitrile rubber backing with 20% recycled content, and each mat is finished by hand, so tone and size vary slightly. How often should the Mix doormat be washed?
Heymat recommends two to four machine washes per year at 140°F (60°C) with bleach-free detergent, plus regular vacuuming or shaking. All three sizes fit a standard home washing machine.

Which Mix colorway hides dirt best?
Forest and Gem, whose darker grey, blue and green tones disguise grit between washes. Meadow and Berry read brighter, so they show tracked-in dirt sooner on a busy entry.
