Napoles Arm Chair

Six and a half pounds — light enough to move one-handed, welded from 100% recycled aluminium.

iSiMAR named the Napoles for the street life of Naples and built it for the same job: chairs that get stacked, carried, and left out. The frame is aluminium 6063 drawn from recycled stock, powder-coated in a texturized matte finish rated for exterior and intensive use, made at the company's Navarra factory and certified to UNE-EN 581-1 and 581-2. How heavy is the Napoles armchair?
6.6 pounds. The aluminium 6063 frame makes it the lightest chair in iSiMAR's range, which matters if you move seating in and out with the weather or rearrange a terrace daily.

Will it blow over in wind?
Its light weight is a trade-off. On an exposed roof or seafront terrace, stack or store the chairs when not in use — iSiMAR packs them four to a carton, so they nest tightly.

Is aluminium better than steel outdoors?
Aluminium will not rust if the powder coat is chipped, and it is far lighter. Galvanized steel is heavier and more wind-stable. Both carry iSiMAR's C5H salt-spray classification.
