Ocean OC2 Chair

Discarded beer kegs began the OC2 story: the Ditzels' 1955 chair, recast in recycled plastic for a second generation.

OC2 is the follow-up chapter of Mater's Ocean Collection, which launched the series with plastic reclaimed from Carlsberg's retired beer kegs mixed with recycled hard plastic. The 1955 Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel silhouette is unchanged — light, stackable, and slatted — on a partly recycled steel frame in gunmetal, made and tested for outdoor use and designed for disassembly.
