Original 1227 Pendant
The 1227's unmistakable shade hung plain from the ceiling — one for a doorway, three over a counter.
Introduced in 2012, the pendant strips George Carwardine's classic down to its steel shade, gloss paint, and chrome-plated fittings, with a color-matched ceiling rose and junction-box kit. Run it solo or in series over kitchens and dining tables. It's the simplest entry into our Anglepoise collection.

What bulb should I use?
One E26 bulb rated up to 10 watts — effectively an LED, which delivers plenty of light at that rating and keeps the fixture cool and efficient. No bulb is included.
Can I hang several together?
Yes. The 59-inch cable and compact 5.5-inch shade make it a natural series pendant — spaced along a counter, island, or hallway on standard junction boxes.
