Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse founded Ethnicraft in Antwerp more than 30 years ago. It makes solid oak and teak furniture in its own factories, and its Re-Loved programme refurbishes pieces for a second life.

Pi Dining Chair
Strength-tested to a British seating standard, yet every chair still carries hand-finished, one-of-a-kind grain.
The PI Dining Chair extends Ethnicraft's polished-imperfect philosophy to the dining table. It is made in solid oak with a hardwax oil finish, or in dark brown stained, brushed solid teak certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) — the teak version tested to BS EN 16139:2013 for non-domestic seating strength.

Yes — the seat and back are subtly shaped from solid wood, following the PI collection's organic curves, which gives more support than a flat plank chair.
