Thomas Jenkins and Sverre Uhnger, the Oslo-based duo behind the Port collection for Case Furniture, drew on the visual lightness and structural strength of Japan's Shinto temples. Gently chamfered edges soften every visible cut, while the sturdy central stem removes the legs that usually collide with bedframes and chair bases.
