Recycled Flower Pots

Recycled Flower Pots
Household waste collected in Randers, re-granulated in Langå, cast in Juelsminde — the whole loop inside Denmark.
Signe Wenneberg designed the Recycled flower pot for Rosendahl entirely from recycled Danish household plastic. The marbled surface reads like stone but weighs almost nothing, and the pot is liquid-tight so windowsills stay unmarked, frost-safe to -4°F, stackable, and marked discreetly to show where to drill drainage holes for outdoor use. Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

Common Questions
Can it live outside through winter?
Yes. Rosendahl rates the pot as break- and frost-safe down to -4°F, and unlike ceramic it will not shatter if it is knocked or if trapped water freezes.
Does it have drainage holes?
Not as supplied — it ships 100% liquid-tight so it will not stain a windowsill. Discreet markings on the base show where to drill if you want drainage outdoors.
Where does the recycled plastic come from?
Danish households. The waste is collected in Randers, re-granulated in Langå, and cast in Juelsminde, so collection through production all happens in Denmark.
