Soft Spot Solar Dots arrived in 2025, Maria Berntsen's smallest lamps for Rosendahl, in a forest green taken from nature and built from GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified recycled materials. Solar cells in the body charge through the day, USB-C covers cloudy stretches, and a dusk sensor handles the switch. Cordless, indoors or out. Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

Are those measurements heights or diameters?
Diameters. The three Dots are 4.5 in, 5.7 in, and 8.3 in across — they are low, wide forms, so a stepped group of all three works better than a single lamp.
Can they stay outdoors?
Yes. Rosendahl states they withstand rain, wind, and temperatures down to -4°F, and because they are cordless they move between terrace and table without any rewiring.
How do they charge on a grey week?
Through the USB-C backup port. The solar cells do the work in sunlight; the cable is there for winter and overcast runs. Rosendahl does not include the cable.
