The Rubin Paper Lantern Pendant by Matthew Hilton for Case reinterprets traditional Japanese lighting in three silhouettes — Tapered, Narrow, and Round. The washi paper shade sits on a steel wire frame, and a subtly fluted interior cavity shapes the light into a warm, even wash. Hang one alone or group several at varied heights.

Do I need to buy the cable separately?
The lantern comes in two versions: shade only — for use with an existing pendant cord — or complete with a power cable. Check the option selected at checkout.
How do I clean a washi paper shade?
Dust with a soft dry cloth or feather duster only. Keep it away from moisture, cleaning sprays, and open flames, and handle gently — the paper is delicate.
What is the difference between the three shapes?
Narrow is the most compact (15 in wide); Round is the fullest (22.9 in); Tapered narrows toward the base. All three share the same washi paper and fluted interior.
