Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

Slot Shelving Double
Two bays, one floating steel system: Woodgate's Slot pairs shelving with desks, cabinets, or drawers.
The Slot Shelving Double combines two bays of Terence Woodgate's concealed-fixing wall system for Case. Mix 600 mm or 900 mm shelving with a 900 mm desk, soft-close drawer unit, or drop-down cabinet on either side. Powder-coated steel with machined stainless fittings, shelves adjustable in one-inch increments.

What configurations are available?
Each side takes 600 or 900 mm shelving, or a 900 mm cabinet, drawer unit, or desk. Total width runs from 51 inches (600+600) to 74.6 inches (900+900).
How is it mounted and adjusted?
The uprights fix to the wall through concealed slots for a floating look; wall plugs and screws are included. Shelves adjust in 1-inch (25 mm) increments. Two-person assembly.
Do the storage units have soft-close hardware?
Yes — the drawer unit is soft-closing and the cabinet door uses a soft-opening wire drop-down mechanism, both in oak-veneered MDF with aluminum handles.
