Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

Solid Table Lamp
Solid marble, hand-blown opal glass, and a rechargeable 2700K LED — Terence Woodgate's portable lamp goes wherever evening happens.
Each base is cut from fine-polished Serpentine, Carrara, or Nero Marquina marble, so no two lamps share the same veining. Winner of a Design Guild Mark award, the Solid lamp from Case Furniture is rated IPX4 for indoor and outdoor use, with a three-stage touch dimmer and a replaceable quick-fit battery.

Common Questions
How long does the battery last?
Eight to twelve hours per charge depending on brightness — about 12 hours at 20%, 10 at 60%, and 8 at full output. A standard charge takes 4.5 hours, or 2 hours on fast charge.
Can I use it outside?
Yes — it is rated IPX4 and fully cordless, so it moves from dinner table to terrace in one hand. Bring it in rather than leaving it exposed overnight.
Will my lamp look like the photos?
Close, but never identical — marble veining and tone vary naturally, so each base is unique. That variation is the point of using solid stone.
