Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

Tanso Chair Cushion
UV- and mold-resistant Textilene wraps a supportive polyester fill, tailored to the Tanso Armchair's exact seat.
David Irwin's Tanso series for Case Furniture adds comfort through durable materials rather than visual bulk, and this cushion follows suit. Discreet toggle buttons hold it neatly to the armchair's teak seat, so the frame's craftsmanship stays the focus.

Which chair does this cushion fit?
The Tanso Armchair — it is cut to the armchair's seat dimensions and fastens with toggle buttons. The Tanso Bench uses its own longer cushion, sold separately.
Is it okay outdoors?
Yes for everyday use — the Textilene cover resists UV fading and mold. Bring it inside during long wet spells and over winter to extend its lifespan.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with water and mild detergent, then air-dry fully. Avoid abrasive cleaners; the tight Textilene weave releases most dirt with a simple wipe-down.
