Thatsit Kneeling Chair
Peter Opsvik spent a career rethinking how we sit — the Thatsit is his kneeling chair built for active, all-day focus.
Curved wooden runners let you rock between forward, upright, and reclined postures, while the winged, adjustable backrest — the feature that separates it from Opsvik’s original balans — supports your back as you move. Built in Europe for Varier.

Common Questions
Is it comfortable for long stretches?
Yes. The curved runners keep you in gentle motion — active sitting — which eases the static strain of a fixed chair over long hours.
Can I adjust it to my posture?
The winged backrest and shin rests adjust from a forward lean at your desk to a more upright position.
