The Lounge Chair

At a 15.7-inch seat height, this is Space Copenhagen's sculptural language for Mater at its most reclined.

The Lounge Chair takes the profile of The Dining Chair and the High Stool and grows the seat and back until armrests become unnecessary. Both are upholstered in soft, durable Sorensen Leather over a frame of FSC-certified solid oak or beech, made in Slovenia. At 27.1 pounds it moves between rooms without help, which is rare among the lounge pieces in our Mater collection and the reason it suits small apartments.

Dust with a soft dry cloth; wipe the wood with a damp cloth and mild soap and dry at once; condition the leather occasionally and keep the chair out of prolonged direct sun

Yes. The rounded, upholstered back is designed to replace them, wrapping support around the lower back, while the 25.5-inch width leaves room to shift position rather than being held in place.
