Paul Smith, the British designer known for his mastery of color, repaints Sir Kenneth Grange's Type 75 Mini in numbered editions, from the summery Edition One to a patchwork first made for a Land Rover Defender.

Grange's Type 75 Mini offers all the functionality of the larger Type 75 in a more compact form: constant-tension springs, aluminum shade and arms, cast iron base. Edition One is evocative of summer; Edition Three borrows the visual vocabulary of Mondrian's De Stijl; Edition Four revisits Smith's 27-color patchwork for a unique Defender. It sits beside the full-size Paul Smith Type 75 in our Anglepoise collection.

Which edition is which?
Edition One uses colors evocative of summer, Edition Three takes its cue from Mondrian's De Stijl, and Edition Four revisits the patchwork Paul Smith created for a unique Land Rover Defender. The lamp underneath is the same.

Does it come with a bulb?
Yes. Each lamp ships with a 6.5W E26 LED bulb rated at 600 lumens and 2700K, a warm white. Anglepoise caps replacements at 10W LED and notes that bulb weight affects the balance.

Can I dim it?
Not as supplied. The included LED bulb is non-dimmable, and Anglepoise notes that dimming needs additional electrical hardware. It switches at an inline switch about 10 inches from the lamp.
