Jacob Rudbeck found his inspiration in the acorns at the roots of majestic oaks, rendered in glass, silicone, and metal.
The pendant's three parts — a soft silicone cup, a smooth glass shell, and a kernel in a metallic finish — interlace like the nut itself. Made in China for UMAGE's Copenhagen studio, it may be small, but it holds a bright world inside.

What does hardwired mean for this pendant?
This version wires directly into your ceiling's electrical connection for a permanent installation; UMAGE also offers the Acorn as a plug-in pendant if you would rather power it from a standard outlet.
Which bulb should I use?
The Acorn takes a light source of max 15W LED with an E27 / E26 base. If you're unsure which bulb to choose, UMAGE's bulb recommendations sheet can guide you.
How do I clean the glass shade?
With a soft, lint-free cloth. For smudges, spray glass cleaner onto the cloth rather than directly onto the fixture, and avoid abrasive materials that can scratch the surface.
