Resol designs and makes all of its furniture at its own facilities in Les Preses, Girona, working with designers including Josep Lluscà and Benedetta Tagliabue. Several collections use post-consumer recycled polypropylene.

Vela Table
Fabrizio Batoni's Vela table received an Excellence award in the 2014 IIDA/HD Product Design Competition.
The base is two gas-assisted mouldings in polypropylene with fiberglass, joined by an aluminum bar and UV protected, and it is certified to UNE-EN 15372 for non-domestic use. On top sits high-pressure laminate in Natural Oak, a wood-look surface that is waterproof, non-porous and resistant to heat and scratches, so it can live outdoors without oiling. We stock two sizes on a black base: S at 31.5 inches square and M at 47.2 x 31.5 inches. Made in Spain by Resol.

Common Questions
Is the top real wood?
No. It is high-pressure laminate with a Natural Oak finish, which is why it can stay outside: HPL is waterproof, non-porous and resists heat and scratches, with no oiling or sealing.
How many does it seat?
The S, at 31.5 in square, suits two diners. The M, at 47.2 x 31.5 in, seats four, and because both are 31.5 in deep they line up side by side for larger groups.
Can it stay outdoors?
Yes, for regular outdoor use. The base is UV protected and the top is waterproof. Resol recommends keeping furniture under cover when it will sit unused for long periods.
