Standing 230 cm (over 7.5 feet) tall with a shade spanning 190 cm (nearly 75 inches) in diameter, the Vertigo Nova Floor Lamp is the most dramatic expression of Constance Guisset's iconic Vertigo design — a freestanding sculpture of light that commands attention from every angle. Designed by Guisset (ENSCI-Les Ateliers graduate, Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris 2008, Designer of the Year at Maison & Objet 2010, MoMA collection), the floor lamp takes the signature sweeping ribbon shade and mounts it on an arcing steel base that rises from the floor in a single graceful curve. The effect is somewhere between a reading lamp and a canopy: hand-placed fiberglass ribbons with velvety polyurethane coating create a layered, semi-transparent structure that filters and softens the integrated LED light, projecting graphic shadow patterns onto surrounding surfaces while defining a warm, intimate lighting zone beneath. The Nova evolution (2020) advances every dimension of the original Vertigo (2010) — a more efficient LED hidden behind a handblown triplex glass sphere of opaline sandblasted glass produces light that is simultaneously stronger and softer. Every unit is manufactured 100% by hand in France through Petite Friture's 12-year partnership with APF France Handicap, where 30 skilled artisans at workshops in Évreux and Amiens individually place each ribbon.

The integrated 10W LED delivers 1,350 lumens at 2700K warm white with CRI exceeding 90, fully dimmable, 50,000-hour lifespan, 5-year warranty.
