Week-End Chair

Week-End Chair
Designed in Paris by Studio BrichetZiegler — the duo of Charlotte Brichet and Margaux Keller's Pierre-François Ziegler, known for graphic, lightweight outdoor work across hospitality and residential — the Week-End Chair (also written Weekend in English-language press) is the founding piece of Petite Friture's Week-End collection, launched in 2017. The frame is a single oval-cut sheet of recyclable aluminium, laser-cut and folded into the chair's signature horizontal stripe-like slats, then finished with a matte grained anti-UV powder coat in one of four quickship colours: Black (RAL 9005), White (RAL 9016), Jade Green (RAL 6013), or Glass Green (RAL 6007). Designed and manufactured in Europe under Petite Friture's B Corp certified operation (91.5/100, 2026).
Sold as a set of two. Each chair measures L20.5 in × W19.7 in × H30.3 in with a 17.7 in seat height and weighs just 6.6 lb, making it easy to rearrange a terrace or café floor. Stackable six high for off-season storage. Aluminium construction is impervious to corrosion, salt air and UV radiation, so the chair lives outdoors year-round without covers or oiling — though its proportions make it equally at home in a sunroom or kitchen. CE and FCC certified, with a 5-year structural warranty. The powder coat is VOC-free; touch-up paint is available in matching RAL codes. In the crowded category of outdoor dining chairs, the Week-End is the rare piece that reads as architectural rather than catalogue — and at $1,100 a pair, it sits squarely below comparable Fermob and Tribù.
