Woody Chair (Set of 4)
The silhouette of a traditional wooden cafe chair, moulded in fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene so it can stay out in the rain.
Josep Lluscà designed Woody as a translation rather than an imitation: the low back and generous 23.2 in seat width read as timber, but the material is UV-protected polypropylene with fiberglass, stackable and unaffected by weather. Six colours run from Ivory and Sand through Chocolate and Black. Made in Spain by Resol and tested to three European contract standards. Sold as a set of four in one color — Resol packs them four to a box.

Common Questions
Is it actually made of wood?
No. Woody borrows the proportions of a traditional wooden chair but is moulded from polypropylene with fiberglass — which is what lets it sit outdoors without sealing, sanding or seasonal oiling.
Does it have arms?
This is the armless Woody Chair, 23.2 in wide. Resol makes an armchair version of the same shell separately if arms are needed.
Will it survive a wet winter?
The material is UV protected and unaffected by water, and it is tested to UNE-EN 16139 and EN 581 for contract use. Resol still advises storing furniture under cover when it is out of use for long stretches.
