Two marble blocks, deliberately mismatched — Roel Vandebeek's bookends stay visually connected across the shelf between them.
The Belgian designer, whose Hasselt studio has worked between art, design, and architecture since 1993, cut each Booknd set as one small and one large piece of solid marble. However many books separate them, the pair reads as a unit — a small study in unity from the WOUD collection.
