Dot Pendant

Light escapes through perforated metal, so Rikke Frost's Dot glows with presence even switched off.

Trained at the Royal Danish Academy, Frost wrapped an opal glass core in black painted or brushed metal pierced with fine dots. The pendant comes in three heights on the same slim diameter — WOUD designed them to mix, stagger, and cluster over tables and counters. What bulb does the Dot Pendant use?
A standard E12 candelabra bulb up to 25W, sold separately. The fixture is cUL-certified for the US; a warm LED shows the perforations best.

Can I hang several Dot Pendants together?
Yes — that is the intended use. Mix the three sizes and stagger hanging heights in a cluster; the shared 4.7 in diameter keeps the group coherent.

What makes the shade glow when the light is off?
The perforated metal lets ambient light reach the opal glass inside, so the pendant reads as a soft sculptural object even unlit.
