YON Round Table
Sculptural legs and exact joinery, holding a 43-inch birch top clear of everybody's knees.
Michael Schneider designed YON for CondeHouse, which has made furniture at its Asahikawa factory in Hokkaido since 1968 and grows its Japanese oak and ash entirely in the region. The joinery carries the visual weight here, and the leg structure leaves generous legroom, which is why the table reads as well in hospitality settings as in a dining room. It pairs with the SAN chair and other minimal seating in the CondeHouse collection.

How many people does the 43-inch YON seat?
Four comfortably, five at a push. At 43 1/4 in across and 29 1/4 in high it suits dining chairs with a seat around 17 to 18 in, and the leg structure leaves room for everyone's knees.
