Yang Lin founded Greenington in 2004 to make furniture from 100% solid Moso bamboo, a renewable material 20% harder than red oak. Production uses the whole culm, and the sawdust fuels the kilns.

Zephyr Side Table
Eighteen inches across, twenty tall — sized for a sofa arm, a reading chair, or a bedside.
The round top sits on the same asymmetric bamboo base as the larger Zephyr tables, so a pair reads as a family rather than a matched set. Greenington cuts it from 100% solid Moso bamboo in two tones: Wheat, developed with heat, steam, and pressure, and Caviar, a hand-applied transparent finish. Common Questions
Will it fit beside a standard sofa?
At 20 inches tall it sits close to typical sofa-arm height, and the 18-inch round top holds a lamp, a book, and a drink without crowding a walkway.
Is the Caviar finish a stain?
Caviar is a hand-applied transparent finish, so it does add color. Wheat is the opposite — that tone comes from heat, steam, and pressure alone, with no stain at all.
Does it need assembly?
The base and top are solid bamboo components; follow Greenington's included instructions, and keep the finished table out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents.
