Pia Chevalier's Donut range for Petite Friture treats tableware as confectionery: white-clay earthenware under a high-gloss enamel that meets FDA CFR Title 21 limits for lead and cadmium. At 2.1 in tall the cups take a ristretto or a single shot, and the color choice is the whole point.
