Every stack needs a base — the shallowest of the narrow B98 plinths raises Koch’s book boxes 3.9 inches off the floor.
Mogens Koch designed his 1944 book-box system for FDB Møbler to be combined, and the plinth is the piece that grounds it: solid oak, nature lacquered, sized here at 14.2 inches wide by 6.7 deep for the narrow, shallow cases in the range.
