FDB Møbler began in 1942, when Børge Mogensen set out to make furniture that was both beautiful and affordable. It still makes his designs alongside new ones, and every piece is tested at the Danish Technological Institute.

Stacked oak cases have carried Danish libraries since 1944; the wide, deep plinth is what they properly stand on.
This is the base for the wider B98 cases from FDB Møbler — solid oak, nature lacquered, 21.3 inches wide by 11 deep by 3.9 high. Set it under the bottom case of a stack to lift Mogens Koch’s book boxes off the floor and finish the arrangement.
