Danes have grown taller since the 1950s, so Jørgen Bækmark's woven bench grew a few centimeters with them.

The J163 piano bench — relaunched by FDB Møbler for Bækmark's 90th birthday — pairs a Jet Black (RAL 9005) painted oak frame with a woven paper cord seat. No piano required: it seats one or two in the dining room, the entry, or anywhere a slim bench is needed.
