A square woven seat on long black legs — Jørgen Bækmark's counter stool brings Danish chair-making up to kitchen-island height.

The J164 counter stool was released by FDB Møbler for Bækmark's 90th birthday, translating his paper cord craft into a high seat. Here the oak frame is painted Jet Black (RAL 9005) with water-based paint, framing the natural cord seat in sharp contrast.
